Under the guidance of the Asian Youth Program Coordinator, this position provides academic tutoring, counseling, and recreation for Southeast Asian youth while maintaining contact with their families, and teachers.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in group facilitation and team building.
• Demonstrate cultural competence and bilingual in Hmong
• Sensitive to immigrant and refugee issues
• Excellent interpersonal skil_s
• Excellent judgment and problem solving abilities
• Outstanding oral and written communication
• Highly organized with exceptional time management and planning abilities
• Ability to work in a variety of cultures, backgrounds and perspectives.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive 12-15 passenger van

Preferred:
• Secondary education in Social Services or Education majors preferred

HOURS: Mon-Thurs 1:30pm-5:30pm
LOCATION: Midtown YWCA/Hmong International Academy
