(More information here: http://www.midwestanimalrescue.org/info/events) My foster family is going on vacation August 29th-can I stay with you for a while? Meet Sebastian!Look at that face! He has a very expressive face! Sebastian is a Boxer mix boy, who gets along great with everyone he meets. He is willing to learn anything for a treat! It took Sebastian a while to learn his manners since he had no idea he was 70lbs. But, he's doing great now. He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He would LOVE to have a fenced in yard but it is not a requirement and long as you are willing to exercise this big boy. He doesn't have great leash manners yet but that will come with some training. He loves to go for walks and would benefit from someone who is very active and can walk or jog him everyday! He is a little shy around men at first but after a couple treats, he forgets all about that! He has been around kids and would so best if they are 6 and up or used to large dogs and not afraid to get knocked over. He also gets along well with other dogs. He really enjoys going to the dog park and making new canine and human friends. Sebastian is just really a huge sweetheart who just wants some love and attention and a home to call his own. UPDATE FROM SEBASTIAN'S FOSTER: If you are looking for a great playmate, watch dog,comedian,and a huge lap dog wannabe,this boy is for you. I am currently fostering him and I am in need of rotator cuff surgery or I would not be offering him for adoption or fostering, but I live alone and I will be laid up for 6-8 weeks and I not sure how I'll take care of myself. Sebastian needs very little care,a fenched yard would be great but right now when we're not out for a walk,or playing fetch in the yard he is fine on a 20 ft.chain and does'nt mind it at all, he walks to the end of it to do his duties so when he's running around its out of the way until I shovel and he enjoys just laying out there in the sun,when we're lucky enough to have some. He is good on or off a leash,he heals great,and when we're playing fetch he comes when he's called even if another dogs bark distracts him.I could go on forever about what a treat he is and how much I'll miss him, but I'm hoping someone will give him a wonderful home and that he'll have a playmate in better shape then me.Please feel free to fill out an Adoption or foster application on our main website, www.midwestanimalrescue.org, by clicking on the Form/Applications link under Website Features.Thank You! or
