Labrador Retriever - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog - Mazey

Mazey is a 3 year old female Lab mix. She is mixed-breed dog and weighs 44 pounds. She came to the Humane Society after she was found on a rural property and proceeded to give birth to pups. The property owners found homes for all of the pups, but could not find a home for Mazey, so she came to us. Mazey is a sweet girl and very charming, however it is obvious that a leash is something that is foreign to her. She most likely has been a free-run type of dog in her prior home(s). However she is getting accustomed to the leash, and having her collar handled so we do not think this will be a long-term problem. She does perfectly with our other Shelter dogs and displays a very appealing mature personality. She seems in good health and good spirits. She keeps her kennel pen at our Shelter spotless, which is a good indication of possibly being already housetrained.Mazey is spayed and current with all vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $75. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes. This form is a simple one-sided Microsoft Word document and it can be e-mailed to you upon request.
