German Shorthaired Pointer - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Rex
Description
Rex is an adult male dog that we estimate to be just a tad over 1 year of age. He looks to be a mix of Pointer and Lab. He has a large, solid frame and we estimate his weight currently at about 75 pounds. Rex came to us as an owner surrender. The original owner obtained Rex as a pup, but then decided they were not prepared to properly care for a dog. Rex is not fond of Shelter life, but that is understandable. He barks a fair amount from his kennel pen, but once away from the interior of the Shelter, he is much better. He enjoys playing with other dogs. Rex keeps his 5' x 10' kennel pen pretty clean, but it is hard for us to know for sure if he is housetrained or not. His prospective home should plan on doing some housetraining work just to be sure.The adoption fee for Rex is $75. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes. This form is a simple one-sided Microsoft Word document and it can be e-mailed to you upon request.
