American Staffordshire Terrier - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - T

Tanner is a 1 year old male Pit Bull Terrier. He was found as a stray west of Austin. Tanner likes people and his favorite thing in the entire world is his kong toy. He weighs 55 pounds at the present time. He has shown no aggressive tendencies towards people at all, however he does not seem to like other dogs. We are working on that issue, but it is difficult in our Shelter setting. Tanner needs a home that can drain his energy level with plenty of exercise. A fenced yard is highly recommended. His new home should have some experience with strong dogs and/or bully breeds. Tanner is neutered and is current with all vaccinations. In our Shelter, Tanner resides in a 5' x 5' kennel pen so it makes it hard for us to know if he is housetrained or not, but he does a good job of keeping his kennel pen clean. Tanner will not be adopted as an outdoor dog, or as a guard dog.His adoption fee is $95. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes. This form is a simple one-sided Microsoft Word document and it can be e-mailed to you upon request.
