Calico - Medium - Adult - Female - Cat - Tabitha

Magical Tabitha 2/24/09 update: Tabitha's latest blood tests came back completely normal! This means she has fully recovered from her bout with Fatty Liver Disease last year. Tabitha is a gorgeous, plush, sassy, playful, loving, short-haired, white cat with black and buff Tabby/Tortoiseshell ("Torbie") and Calico markings on her head and sides, a dark Tabby tail, and captivating pale blue eyes. (Click on the video to see her unique coloring and markings in action.) Tabitha was owner-surrendered and is 11 years old. She was grossly overweight when she came to us last summer and didn't adjust well to her first foster home. She stopped eating, got Fatty Liver Disease, lost at least half of her body weight, nearly died, and had to be force-fed and given subcutaneous fluids for 2 months. Now she's friskier and sassier than we ever knew she could be! Tab loves her catnip toys, plays with them quite vigorously. She also loves her meals (and just about everyone else's) and eats well. With her blue eyes and frequent squawking, we think she must be part Siamese. She also loves attention and is very outgoing with new people. Now that she feels good, she is active, vocal, social, and purrs most of the time. Tabitha has been fostering with several other cats and dogs and has done well with all of them. She tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, got that vaccination and her Distemper combo, and she was spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $60.
