Medusa/Cerberus Medusa And Young Perseus Cerberus And the Famous Heracles Two Collegiate Registration Prints Both Measure 21 1/2 “ X 36 1/2” In this piece of art, Medusa the female snake haired flying creature capable of turning onlookers into stone, is being attached by the young hero Perseus. With some help of the God’s he overcomes the hideous creature by looking only at the reflection in his shield and closes in and decapitates her. The companion piece features Cerberus the triple headed dog who’s job it is to keep watch over the entrance of the Greek Underworld of Hades is being captured by Heracles and taken to King Eurystheus who is so terrified that he has Heracles return the canine to the underworld. Both pieces are highly colorful pieces of art used to encourage Spring and Summer College Registration. Both pieces of artwork are very unique, colorful and very graphic.
